ProAir was started in 1978, when the demand for installation of air conditioning and heating systems in vehicles was on the rise. As the company expanded, it became involved in the manufacture of automotive climate systems, as well as the installation of those systems. As a result, ProAir has become the leader in rear air conditioning and heating systems to the van conversion industry. Today ProAir is manufacturing, distributing, and installing air conditioning and heating systems as a service for most vehicles, with an emphasis on specialty vehicles, ranging from ambulances to delivery trucks. Our goal as a company is to continue to develop as a service-oriented supplier in the specialty vehicle cooling/heating industry, with the intention of becoming a leader in quality, service, and satisfaction.
As ProAir has grown, so have the needs of our customers. In 1991 ProAir expanded by establishing a facility in Southern California to meet the needs of customers in the Western United States. Currently ProAir West serves the needs of its many customers with professional, well-trained installers, an experienced sales staff, and its own warehouse. They display an excellent commitment to their customers and have established a proven record of quality and service over the years.
